Description

SPEEDLINER™ EURO is a highly durable 2K protective coating, applied in layer thicknesses ranging from 1 to 3 mm. Unlike many products in this market segment, SPEEDLINER™ EURO is not a paint, but a true protective coating.

SPEEDLINER™ EURO can be easily applied with a brush, roller, or spray gun. For those who own a compressor, spraying is a faster option.

Properties

When cured, SPEEDLINER™ EURO is extremely durable and protects against abrasion, weathering, corrosion, chemicals, saltwater, and extreme temperatures. It is supplied colorless and can be tinted individually, even in metallic colors.

Additionally, SPEEDLINER™ Antislip can be added to create a slip-resistant surface that meets slip resistance classes R10 to R13 – tested and certified by an independent laboratory.

Application

SPEEDLINER™ EURO can be applied to various surfaces:

• Painted surfaces
• Aluminum
• Steel (galvanized or raw)
• Fiberglass (GFK)
• PVC plastics
• Wood
• Polyester
• Ceramics, tiles
• Carpets, wallpaper

It is a complete coating system consisting of the coating material, primer, cleaners, degreasers, and other accessories such as rollers, brushes, and spray guns.

Processing

The application can be done by brush, roller, or spray gun. A detailed processing guide is included.

Preparation

Before application, surfaces must be cleaned, rusted areas removed, and if necessary, repaired. Then, clean and degrease thoroughly. For optimal adhesion, only use SPEEDTEX™ cleaners:

• WDC - Special Cleaner for all surfaces
• PLC - Plastic Cleaner for PVC, plastic, and ABS

Primer

Depending on the surface, the following primers are required:

• AP101 - Universal Primer for all surfaces
• PP100 - Plastic Primer for PVC, plastic, and ABS
• EP100 - Etching Primer for metal surfaces

Mixing the Material

Pour the color pigment into the B-component (hardener), shake for 10 seconds, then add it to the A-component. Stir the mixture for exactly 1 minute.

Apply the Material

The material is applied in layer thicknesses of 0.5 to 3 mm. After mixing, the pot life is approximately 20 minutes at 20°C.

Colors

Choose from 18 standard colors and over 200 RAL colors, including metallic colors.

Surface Texture

Depending on the applied technique and roller, different surface textures can be achieved, from rough to smooth. Both variants offer excellent protection.

Consumption

Calculate the surface area and choose the layer thickness:

• 1.0 mm: approx. 0.5 m²
• 2.0 mm: approx. 0.25 m²

Round up the material requirement to ensure enough material is available.
