Learn how to completely repair your shower tray yourself with this hands-on video — step by step and easy to follow.
All steps for repair and sealing: preparation, masking, stapling cracks, sanding, sealing and coating. Practical tips help at every step. Long-lasting protection for your shower tray.
Protect surrounding areas with masking tape, paper and film. Don’t forget to cover the drain.

Apply a first tape about 20 mm from the tray edge, then cover the gap to the tray with 30 mm tape. This master tape is removed after coating.
Use a plastic repair stapler to staple broken sections securely.

Press hot staples in flush (do not pierce through) and secure all areas carefully.
Underfill the area around the stapled crack with 2-component expanding foam to increase stability.

Drill 8 mm holes around the crack (beware of pipes and installations beneath!). Inject foam, let it cure and trim any excess flush.

Cut metal staples flush with side cutters and sand smooth — a finger sander works best.

Clean and thoroughly key with 80-grit paper/sponge; carefully key the edges without damaging the master tape.

Seal all repaired areas, hairline cracks and holes with PU sealer. Smooth with a finger wetted with WDC cleaner. Do not use water or silicone remover.

Allow at least 20 minutes to tack off; better to let it fully cure.

Now coat the prepared shower tray with SPEEDLINER PRO — either by roller/brush or with a spray gun.
