Description
SPEEDLINER™ PRO PP100 - Plastic Primer is a transparent 1K adhesion promoter, developed for SPEEDLINER™ PRO coatings on the following substrates:
- Polyethylene (PE)
- Polypropylene (PP)
- Polyester
- Carbon fiber (CFK)
- and other plastics
Important: Only SPEEDLINER™ PRO primers guarantee optimal adhesion for SPEEDLINER™ PRO coatings.
Application
AP100 can be rolled, brushed, or sprayed with a spray gun. The surface must be cleaned and lightly sanded. Then, wipe with SPEEDLINER™ PRO PLC Plastic Cleaner to ensure better adhesion.
- Processing time: 10–15 minutes at 20°C
- Drying time: approx. 20 minutes
- Apply SPEEDLINER™ PRO coating within 4 hours
Apply the primer in a thin, even film. Calculate the area and the required amount carefully.
Note
For metal surfaces or special materials like galvanized metal or aluminum, the SPEEDLINER™ PRO EP100 - Etch Primer must be used. The primer is not UV resistant and may turn yellow when exposed to sunlight.
Consumption
1 liter of PP100 can cover approximately 7–8 m² (depending on the application method).
Calculation of the required amount:
- Calculate the area (m²).
- 1 liter = 7–8 m². For smaller amounts, 250 ml = 1.5–2 m².
- Round up the required amount to ensure there is enough primer.
