We show you how to coat your machine frame in a practical video tutorial. Explained step by step and ideal for following along.
In the guide we explain all the steps to coat your machine frame made of bare steel profiles with SPEEDLINER Pro. From preparation, sanding, priming to coating, we show you everything in detail. Practical tips & tricks help you at every step. Durable protection for your loading area.
Floor and walls are roughly cleaned, rust is removed if necessary and sanded with a sander. For fast and effective scuffing we recommend a pneumatic or electric sander with a cup brush.
Important: Only scuff painted surfaces, do not sand down to bare metal.
Use the WDC universal cleaner to remove all grease, wax or other residues.

Seal all open areas, edges, transitions or gaps with PU sealant.

All bare metal areas are pre-primed with EP100 etch primer. This is done with a spray gun or a brush.

Let EP100 etch primer dry for at least 20 minutes.

Prime all surfaces to be coated with AP101 universal primer. This is done with a spray gun or a brush.

Let AP101 universal primer dry for at least 20 minutes, but not more than 4 hours. After 4 hours it must be reapplied.

Further information on the mixing ratio of component A, component B and the liquid color pigment can be found in the SPEEDLINER Pro processing guidelines.
Start with the edges and corners.

Then all surfaces. Depending on the application we recommend a layer thickness of 1 to 1.5 mm. Greater layer thicknesses are possible at any time.

After successfully spraying the protective coating, a short drying phase follows. After this, the desired texture is applied. The texture influences the appearance.

The coating material is sprayed onto the surface from a greater distance.
What You See Is What You Get! The way the surface looks after applying the texture is how it will look later. The surface structure no longer changes during curing.
Let the protective coating dry for at least 12 hours and protect it from water and moisture.
Done, that’s it! During the curing process, the protection increases continuously and the material bonds permanently with the frame.
