EP100 - Ätzprimer

Description

SPEEDLINER™ EP100 – Etching Primer is a 1K bonding agent used as a pre-treatment on the following surfaces:

• bare metal and steel
• galvanized metal
• stainless steel
• aluminum
• and others

This primer ensures optimal adhesion for SPEEDLINER™ and SPEEDLINER™ PRO coatings. For the main primer, use the SPEEDLINER™ AP101 - Universal Primer.

Application

The SPEEDLINER™ EP100 can be applied with a roller, brush, or spray gun. Prior to application, clean, sand, and remove dust and rust from the surface. Then wipe with SPEEDLINER™ WDC - Special Cleaner to improve adhesion.

• Application time: 15 minutes at 20°C
• Apply with a spray gun (rolling or brushing also possible)
• Optional: Add pigment to the primer for better contrast
• Drying time: 20 minutes
• Apply coating within 4 hours

Apply the primer in a thin, even layer (6–12 µm). Calculate the required amount precisely (see coverage). After applying the primer, apply SPEEDLINER™ AP101 - Universal Primer and top with SPEEDLINER™ or SPEEDLINER™ PRO coatings.

Coverage

1 liter of SPEEDLINER™ EP100 covers approximately 4-5 m², depending on the application technique.

1. Calculate the area of the surface to be coated (m²).
2. 1 liter EP100 = 4-5 m².
3. Round up the required amount to ensure sufficient primer is available.
